DCS Curriculum of Support Coordinator Dr. Katie Chappell, is now a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Special Education from Liberty University.
Her capstone project, titled "Recommendations to Solve the Problem of the Lack of a Formalized Multi-Tiered System of Support," focused on implementing a structured Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) at the high school level.
Dr. Chappell’s work is essential to Delmarva Christian as the school transitions to a one-campus model, aiming to improve support for students with learning difficulties. Chappell is dedicated to advancing the mission of Delmarva Christian Schools by facilitating the implementation of this program, ensuring high-quality, Christian education for all students
