Celebrating Legacy and Love: Grandparents and Special Guests at DCHS
On February 27, Delmarva Christian High School continued a beloved tradition—the Grandparents and Special Guests Celebration—welcoming family and friends into the Arts and Athletics building for a day of fellowship and gratitude.
This annual event is an opportunity for students to honor the individuals who have played a pivotal role in their lives, offering encouragement, support, and unwavering faith.
The morning began with a warm welcome, followed by a spirit-filled performance from Royals Worship, setting the tone for an uplifting and meaningful program. Guests then heard from high school senior Kasey Bell, who shared a heartfelt reflection on the impact of faith and family in his journey at Delmarva Christian.
The event concluded with an inspiring message from State Representative, Pastor Tim Dukes, who spoke about the unique and powerful role grandparents play in shaping the faith of future generations. He reminded guests that they have an incredible opportunity to create lasting memories and promote spiritual movement in the lives of their grandchildren—moments that, when embraced, can take our breath away. His words encouraged attendees to cherish their role in their grandchildren’s faith journey, making the most of every moment God has given them.
Beyond the program, guests had the opportunity to connect with faculty, tour the school, and witness firsthand the Christ-centered education that shapes the students of Delmarva Christian.
We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this day so special. It is always a joy to celebrate the generations of faith and support that strengthen our school community.
