Reflection, Unity, and Praise - DCS All Staff

A Day of Reflection, Unity, and Praise: Delmarva Christian School’s All-Staff InService

As summer draws to a close, the halls of Delmarva Christian School are once again filled with energy, excitement, and a shared commitment to our mission of providing exceptional Christian education. This week, our faculty and staff gathered for the All-Staff InService, an annual tradition that not only sets the tone for the upcoming school year but also strengthens the bonds of our DCS community.
The day began with a warm welcome from students, support staff, and volunteers. Lining the gym entrance, they greeted our returning faculty and staff with smiles, cheers, and encouragement, with a special boost from the DCHS Cheer Team. This heartwarming reception was a beautiful reminder of the unity and support that define our school.

Leadership, Reflection, and Renewal

Mr. K, our dedicated leader, kicked off the InService with a thoughtful reflection on the past year and the road ahead. He shared his leadership goals for the 2024-2025 school year, emphasizing the importance of continuous growth, teamwork, and unwavering dedication to our mission. His words served as both an inspiration and a challenge, urging us all to strive for excellence in everything we do.
Following this, Mr. Jensen led the staff through a deep and meaningful study on Romans 12:10: “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” This scripture provided a spiritual foundation for the day, reminding us of the core values that guide our interactions with students, colleagues, and the community. The study sparked thoughtful discussions and encouraged each of us to reflect on how we can embody these principles in our daily lives.
Mrs. Hague and Mrs. Hackett then offered the staff an opportunity for personal reflection through commitment cards. These cards served as a tangible way to express our dedication to the school’s mission and to set personal goals for the year ahead. Whether it was a commitment to fostering a more inclusive classroom environment or dedicating more time to spiritual growth, these reflections underscored the deep sense of purpose that each member of our team brings to Delmarva Christian School.

Looking Ahead with Faith and Determination

As we embark on this new school year, the All-Staff InService has left us feeling refreshed, motivated, and deeply connected to our shared mission. It was a day filled with prayer, reflection, and a renewed sense of purpose. Together, we are committed to creating an environment where our students can thrive spiritually, academically, and physically.

We are excited to see what the 2024-2025 school year holds, knowing that with God’s guidance, we will continue to grow, learn, and serve. As always, we remain united in our faith, our love for our students, and our dedication to glorifying our Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do.
Thank you to everyone who made this day so special, and here's to a blessed and successful school year ahead!
