Delmarva Christian Swimmers Shine at ESIAC, Headed to States!
The Delmarva Christian swim team made a splash at the ESIAC Conference, securing multiple top finishes and punching their tickets to the State Tournament! With dominant performances across multiple events, nearly the entire team will be competing at States next week.

Making Waves: 1st Place & State Qualifiers

Leading the charge was Trax Rogers, who placed 1st in the Boys 100 Backstroke while securing his spot at States. Joining him on the podium, our Boys 200 Freestyle Relay teamCameron Smithson, Cole Parker, Trax Rogers, and Tristan McCullough—also claimed 1st place and a state qualification. This powerhouse relay team will be competing in the 400 Freestyle Relay at States next week as well!

Strong Finishes: 2nd Place & State Qualifiers

Our Royals continued to dominate with several second-place finishes, all earning State qualifications:
  • Trax Rogers – 200 Freestyle
  • Tristan McCullough – 200 Individual Medley
  • Cameron Smithson – 50 Freestyle
  • Girls 200 Medley RelayClaudia Warren, Libby Dawson, Emi Obertubbesing & Natalie Ekholm

Pushing Through: 3rd Place Finishes

While third-place finishes don’t guarantee State qualifications, they still showcase our athletes’ incredible effort and determination:
  • Jack Louden – 100 Freestyle
  • Claudia Warren – 500 Freestyle & 100 Backstroke
  • Girls 200 Freestyle RelayNatalie Ekholm, Lily Gschwandtner, Libby Dawson & Emi Obertubbesing
  • Emi Obertubbesing – 100 Breaststroke

Looking Ahead: State Tournament Next Week!

With all but three swimmers qualifying for States, Delmarva Christian will be well-represented at next week’s State Tournament, held on Wednesday (Girls) and Thursday (Boys).
