DCHS Career Day 2025

On Friday, April 11, Delmarva Christian High School hosted its annual Career Day, an exciting opportunity designed to equip students with insight, inspiration, and information about a wide range of career paths.
The day began with a keynote message from Terri Smith, DCS Life Calling Counselor, who challenged students to recognize God’s faithfulness in guiding and providing throughout life’s decisions — including those about future careers. She spoke honestly about the pressures students feel as they consider what’s next, offering encouragement to lean into God’s direction and timing.

Following the keynote, students participated in three breakout sessions where they had the opportunity to meet in small groups with professionals from a wide array of fields. Thirty-two members of the business and professional community generously volunteered their time to speak, sharing details about their industries, the training and skills needed, and the ways their faith influences their professional journey.
Career opportunities represented included public service, nonprofit work, business, healthcare, construction, communications, education, and more. Each speaker not only described their job responsibilities and career paths, but also gave personal testimony of how God has led, provided opportunities, and opened doors in their careers.
