American Government
American Government is a survey course that places special emphasis on the Biblical call for government, the Biblical foundation for the United States government and the United States Constitution. Students will gain a deep knowledge of our nation’s political system in order to build enduring citizenship skills.

US History

The purpose of the US History course is to foster spiritual growth by leading students to ask questions about the character and nature of God and allowing them to see the consequences of one’s thoughts and actions as they play out in the drama of American history.  Students will complete a chronological survey of events from the colonization of The United States of America to the tumultuous climate of the 1950s and 1960s and the connections to our current state. In this process, students will gain wisdom of God’s providential hand displayed throughout all aspects of the development of the United States and the Biblical principles that are the foundation of our Republic.

World History
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,” (Acts 17:26). World History is a survey course that gives students the opportunity to explore God’s Story in recurring themes of human experience around the globe from ancient to contemporary times. The application of an analysis by the cultural traits in civilizations will help students understand how “Truth” leads people to shape their world and how their world shapes them. Students will broaden their historical perspectives as they explore the roots of societies throughout the world that God has crafted.
