Coach Moose Mohr is the founding Athletic Director of Delmarva Christian Schools. Hired by the Board of Directors in 2002, he was tasked with creating an excellent Christian athletics program capable of competing at the highest levels of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association. Coach Mohr accepted and accomplished this mission with dedication during his tenure as Athletic Director and coach at DCHS.
From 2005-2019, Moose served as the Royals Varsity Lacrosse Coach and also coached Field Hockey in 2006. In 2016, his care for Delmarva Christian’s athletic facilities earned the DIAA Outstanding Field Maintenance Award.
Over his 40-year coaching career, Moose has amassed over 300 wins, leaving an indelible mark on the Delaware Lacrosse Community. He was inducted into the Delaware Chapter of the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2000 and The Peddie School Hall of Fame in 1999 for his outstanding achievements in Football, Ice Hockey, and Lacrosse, where he served as captain of all three sports.
Additionally, Moose has taught driver’s education to over 1,000 Delaware students. His legacy at Delmarva Christian will forever be remembered, and it is an honor to introduce Coach Jeff "Moose" Mohr as the first inductee into the Delmarva Christian High School Athletics Hall of Fame.
