Lewis Gebhart was among the inaugural 70 students to attend Delmarva Christian High School in its first year and a proud member of the school’s third graduating class in 2007. During his three years as a DCHS Royal, Lewis earned First Team All-Conference honors in the ESIAC and Diamond State conferences across three sports: soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. In 2005, he was named team MVP for soccer, basketball, and lacrosse and became the school's first-ever recipient of the Outstanding Male Athlete award.
In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Lewis excelled academically as a member of the Delmarva Christian Chapter of the National Honor Society and was recognized on the Honor Roll five times. After graduating, Lewis attended Lee University, where he walked on to the basketball team before a career-ending injury shifted his focus.
Today, Lewis is a devoted husband and serves faithfully in his local church through worship ministry and community outreach. He is actively involved in A Father’s Heart Ministry in Laurel, DE, where he helps provide a tutoring program for underserved members of the community.
