Delmarva Christian Schools celebrated a successful student scholarship banquet on Friday, October 22. The Funding the Future event at The Clubhouse at Baywood resulted in DCS exceeding their goal of $300,000 to provide affordable, excellent Christian education to a greater number of families.

“Delmarva Christian received an incredible amount of generosity and support from the community,” said DCS Director of Advancement Justin Savini. “I’m grateful to those who felt the calling to help Delmarva grow and reach more families.”

Along with dinner, the evening featured a special performance by the Royals Worship Team and media including student and staff interviews. Guests also had the opportunity to meet and be served by current Delmarva Christian students.

The crowd of over 140 people were addressed by Head of Schools Matt Kwiatkowski, Board President Marlene Brown, and Keynote Speaker Nicole Theis. Theis, President/Founder of Delaware Family Policy Council spoke on the importance of Christian education and shared her personal experiences as a parent of two Royal alumni.

“This is an exciting time in Christian education and we have been blessed with increased enrollment and interest,” DCS Head of Schools, Matt Kwiatkowski, “I believe the community is realizing that it is different at Delmarva, and we are truly offering an excellent Christian education.”
