Community Groups
Discovering Biblical Truth Together
By: Susan Gum // October 4th, 2019 // Distinctives Stories
Once a month, in lieu of Chapel services, the high school students engage in Community Group meetings led by their peers. Each Community Group is comprised of approximately a dozen students who have been divided into all-male or all-female members. Centered on topics relevant to their age, the Community Groups enable students to ponder questions together and discover answers based on biblical truth. The students not only use the time to discuss how to apply biblical truths to their everyday lives, they also pray for one another, they build trusting and meaningful relationships, they promote peer accountability, and provide discipleship opportunities with the end goal of growing their biblical worldview.
