Why Delmarva Christian?
I felt like the Lord was calling me to be a music teacher here and paved the way and gave me the desire. It was all in God's perfect timing and preparation as well. The people I work with are my family, we share our burdens and we pray together. It is an amazing feeling to be able to pray with staff and students.
How did you end up at Delmarva Christian?
I have been teaching infants up to eighth grade for over 20 years, I had received an opportunity to teach Music and Library at a Kindergarten school and that gave me the desire to teach Music. I saw that Delmarva Christian was hiring a music teacher, I was a little nervous since I had not worked with middle school as much but it has been a wonderful experience. I also sing in a band and play music with others for experience musically.
What is your favorite lesson to teach in class?

What is your favorite lesson to teach in class?
Basic Music Theory is enjoyable to teach, because it improved my skills as well and I love watching it make sense to students when the lightbulb goes off in their brain.

Psalm 100- "I always tell my students, it doesn't matter how you sound, as long as you make a joyful noise unto the Lord."
